Title: Family-friendly getaway with stunning golf course
For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated children's play area for the little ones to enjoy.

Despite our bad experience with the room, the settings of the castle are beautiful and quiet, although a little far off from the Loire castles. Expect to drive at least 1 hour to most of the castles. There is a fancy and expensive "restaurant gastronomique" and a brasserie, where you can eat on the terrace for very reasonable prices. For breakfast, we had to beg a bit to get a coffee and a croissant in the brasserie but we got it; the other option is to pay 20 Euros for a not very remarkable breakfast buffet. Bathrooms were much better than the rooms.
Careful - some of the Classic Rooms in the Castle (2nd floor, e.g. 203) are clearly substandard for a 4 star- and with prices on this site lower than the regular price - guess who gets them. We had a tiny little room with an even tinier bullseye window that opened only half way and should have been replaced years back. Result: No air, 29 degrees Celsius in the room at midnight with the window open, while outside it was a fresh night around 18 degrees. We slept very little, and had to fight to be moved into another room for the remaining 2 nights. Second room was OK. Still, for a 4 star place, I would have expected the castle to be much better renovated and much cleaner, like others we've seen in France. A bit shabby in some details.

We had a lovely stay in the hotel. It is really beautiful and the staff is excellent.
The hotel is expensive and the rooms are nice, but not for that money. We had a promotion, so for us it was fine.

Nestled in a charming conservatory between the lovely looking golf course and the scenic Loire valley, this hotel is a dreamy weekend escape. With rooms that offer great views of the lush green golf terrain and the surrounding countryside, every moment here feels like a fairy tale. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and elegantly decorated. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to make your stay a memorable one. the facilities like the pool are well-maintained, and the breakfast is sumptuous and delicious.
The restaurant staff could improve in terms of communication with guests.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful, wooded acres and has a well-designed golf course. The historic chateau, built in the 12th century, has been lovingly restored and tastefully refurbished. The location is ideal for visiting nearby chateaux and playing golf.
Finding the hotel was difficult, as there were very few signs. Accessing the rooms via a stone spiral staircase with no handrail would be challenging for those with mobility issues.

Beautiful surroundings and peaceful location. The view over the well-maintained golf course was stunning. The staff were friendly and willing to help with any queries.
The rooms were outdated and desperately need refurbishing. The restaurant was expensive and the menu was limited with average food.

Food and wine were good albeit relatively and unexpectedly expensive considering it was only a 4star hotel with attendant facilities.

Spent xmas at a charming chateau hotel with beautiful surroundings. The dinner was well-presented and reasonably priced with great service. The staff was courteous, efficient and eager to please. The rooms were clean, well-furnished, spacious, and comfortable.
The location was quite isolated from key tourist spots which made it difficult to explore the town. The breakfast was limited and expensive.
